(1) The Geraldton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station (VFRS) and the Geraldton Career Fire and Rescue Station (CFRS) are both budgeted for commencement in 2012/13.
A preferred site has been chosen for the CFRS and the Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia is continuing in the process of negotiating its acquisition. A site has already been purchased for the VFRS. The anticipated timeframe for completion for both projects is still 30 June 2014.
