I refer to the sale of the Water Corporation’s Engineering and Construction branch in 2015, and ask can the Minister please provide: (a) a list of all the projects handed over to RCR Tomlinson as a part of the sale; (b) an indication of which of those projects were categorised as “guaranteed work” and which of those projects were categorised as “transitional work”; (c) the estimated cost of each project at the time of handover; (d) the predicted out-turn for each project on completion; (e) the profit margin amount to RCR Tomlinson for each project; (f) the management/overhead fee payable to RCR Tomlinson for each project; and (g) the expected completion date for each project?

(a)-(c) As part of the sale process, the guaranteed work over three years represents new projects for the Water Corporation. In addition, it was agreed that a number of jobs in various stages of completion by Engineering and Construction Services at the point the sale transacted (transitional work), would be completed by RCR Tomlinson. (f) I am advised the management/overhead fee is detailed in the contract of sale and covered under its confidentiality clause.
