I refer to the media release dated 16 November 2017 regarding planning reform and the appointment of Mr Evan Jones, and I ask: (a) did Mr Evan Jones have a contract or agreement with the Government regarding his appointment; (b) if yes to (a) what were the terms of the agreement including length of contract and remuneration; (c) what was Mr Jones' role and were there any documents outlining Mr Jones' role; (d) if yes to (c), will the Minister table those documents; (e) did Mr Jones resign from the position and if so, on what date did Mr Jones resign from the position; (f) did Mr Jones provide a reason for his resignation and if so, what where those reasons; (g) did Mr Jones provide those reasons in writing and if so, will the Minister table the letter or email; (h) is the planning reform team still convening; and (i) who has replaced Mr Jones as chair of the reform team?

(b) Remuneration paid to Mr Jones totalled $204,050 (including GST), of which $176,000 (including GST) related to planning reform and $28,050 (including GST) concerned Design WA.

(i) With the release of the Green Paper and associated consultation, the independent review is complete. The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage is currently assisting the Government to prepare its response to the independent review.
