SOUTH HEDLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL
437. Hon STEPHEN DAWSON to the Minister
for Education:
I refer to question without notice
253, answered on 22 March 2016.
(1) What was the outcome of any
investigation into the bullying complaints?
(2) Were the complaints
substantiated?
(3) Was
disciplinary action taken against anyone; and, if so, what action was taken and
against whom?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of this question.
(1)–(2) One
complaint was assessed and a request for further information was sent back to
the complainant. No further correspondence has been received. One complaint was
forwarded for assessment by the Standards and Integrity Directorate and was
referred back to the Pilbara Education Regional Office and is still being
investigated. One complaint was scheduled for mediation in March 2016, but has
been postponed until the staff member returns from leave.
(3) No disciplinary action has
occurred as the investigations are not finalised.
