I refer to the proposed Aubin Grove train station.
(1) What stages of the procurement process have been
completed?
(2) When will actual construction of the new station
commence?
(3) When is the station planned to be operational?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) The options
to procure the construction of Aubin Grove station are still under
consideration and the actual form of procurement will not be decided until the
end of 2013. Following that, the formal process of tender documentation,
tendering, evaluation and awarding of contracts will commence from early 2014.
(2) Construction is expected to commence in early 2015.
(3) The station will become operational in late 2016.
