It appears the assaulted person went to the City train station and station personnel arranged attendance of the Police and ambulance. In moving to the train station the person walked past the Police Transit Office front entrance and also a Police emergency intercom. The WA Police Service is conducting an investigation into the matter and I understand that the person who was assaulted has been unable to provide to the Police a consistent version of what actually occurred. I believe the Hon Member should await the outcome of the WA Police Service investigation.
