This government has been approached by Jandakot Airport Holdings about a concept to relocate Jandakot Airport. The commonwealth government, as the owner of the land, has not clarified its position on the relocation of the airport or the future use of the airport land. (2) This government is not convinced that there is a need to relocate Jandakot Airport. The state government believes there is a case for retaining a general aviation facility within the metropolitan area.
