Children and adolescents identified as requiring urgent attention are assessed by South West Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (SW CAMHS) within 24 - 48 hours. As at 1 October 2012 the wait time for non-urgent assessment across the whole of SW CAMHS is approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
