(1) To put the question in perspective, there are 4 506 SmartRider devices on buses. Faults on Average per day in 2013-14 (July to June): 6.03, 6.48, 5.30, 6.06, 6.96, 5.22, 5.96, 5.46, 5.87, 5.16, 5.58, 4.60.
(2) SmartRider terminals installed on buses are checked by the bus driver at the start of each shift before the bus leaves the depot.
