I refer to the Auditor General’s Report “Controls Over Portable Assets – State Entities” (Report 10: 2025-26), and I ask:(a) does the Minister acknowledge that the Forest Products Commission’s controls over portable assets were found to be mostly not effective;(b) does the Minister agree with the recommendations of the Auditor General;(c) who is responsible for implementing these recommendations within the Forest Products Commission;(d) what immediate actions are being taken to address the lack of stock-takes and inaccurate asset registers;(e) what different actions will be taken by the Minister considering this is the second time that the Auditor General has found that the Forest Products Commission does not effectively manage portable assets; and(f) will any improved asset management systems be implemented across other agencies within the Minister’s portfolio?
