PERIMETER FENCING — TRANBY PRIMARY SCHOOL
1071. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
Minister for Education:
I refer to question without notice 567 and the security fence
that is to be erected at Tranby Primary School in Rivervale. The Minister for
Education stated in response to that question that he anticipated the fence to
be completed by 31 August 2014.
(1) Has the fence been completed; and, if not, why not?
(2) If there has been a delay, what was the reason for that
delay?
(3) When will the security fence be completed?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1)–(2)
No. The Department of Finance, building management and works, has advised that
the planning approval and tender process took longer than anticipated.
(3) Contractors
are currently on site. The installation of the perimeter security fence is
anticipated to be complete by Monday, 20 October 2014.
