I refer to the Public Sector Commission’s 2008–2009 Website Report and the revelation there are 521 Western Australian Public Sector websites registered as active in the Online Website Registration System (OWRS). In relation to actions that have, or will be, taken by the Public Sector Commission to improve the level of adoption and compliance with the Website Governance Framework (WGF), I ask:
(a) as at 16 April 2010, has the Public Sector Commissioner communicated with all Directors General and Chief Executive Officers indicating that the WGF continues to be the key strategic tool for the Western Australian Government to deliver better outcomes in online service delivery and re-advising of the requirement to adopt and comply with the WGF; and
(i) if yes, when did this occur; and
(ii) if not, why not;
(b) as at 16 April 2010, has the WGF been reviewed; and
(i) if yes, has the review made final recommendations for consideration by the Public Sector Commission; and
(ii) if not, why not; and
(c) how many new business plans for government websites have been finalised since the release of the report?
