I refer to social and community housing throughout the Geraldton electorate, and I ask : (a) What is the total reported number of damages made to these homes over the past 10 years; (b) What is the dollar amount of these damages; (c) Can a breakdown of (a) and (b) be provided; (d) What is the number of repairs that have been made to these homes over the past 10 years; (e) What is the dollar amount of these repairs; (f) Can a breakdown of (d) and (e) be provided; (g) What is the total cost of renovations or purchases of homes for social housing in Geraldton; (h) Can a breakdown be provided to (g) in terms of cost of purchase, repairs, rental income, rental arrears, and unpaid utilities; and (i) What is the typical turn around time for a boarded-up house to be repaired in Geraldton?

g-h) Since the 1 July 2021, the Spot Purchase Program has acquired a total of 78 social housing dwellings in Geraldton at a cost of $26,646,500. Since 1 July 2021, the DHWhas completed 100 refurbishments for social housing dwellings in the Midwest Region at a total cost of $18.27 million.
Rental income and rental arrears do not form part of regular reporting and would require significant resources to manually assess.
Unpaid utilities is not in the remit of DHW.
i) Timeframes vary significantly dependent on works required and can be impacted by the age and condition of the property, the scope of works required, contractor availability and the potential for redevelopment.
