(1) During the months of June, July and August 2015, the Department for Child Protection and Family Support referred a total of 96 individuals to the Department of Social Services (Centrelink) for compulsory income management.
In June 2015 a total of 43 individuals were referred in the following districts:
Cannington 2
East Kimberly 13
Fremantle 1
Goldfields 1
Joondalup 6
Midland 3
Mirrabooka 2
Rockingham 6
West Kimberly 9
In July 2015 a total of 30 individuals were referred in the following districts:
Armadale 4
Cannington 4
East Kimberly 1
Goldfields 2
Joondalup 4
Midland 3
Mirrabooka 3
Rockingham 8
West Kimberly 1
In August 2015 a total of 23 individuals were referred in the following districts:
Armadale 2
East Kimberly 1
Fremantle 1
Joondalup 5
Midland 4
Mirrabooka 1
Peel 1
Rockingham 4
West Kimberly 4
(2) Between 1 June 2015 and 31 August 2015, one individual with children sought financial assistance on two or more occasions from the Department and this response came from the Departments Crisis Care Unit.
