ESPERANCE GAS
DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
623. Mr P.J. RUNDLE to the Minister for Energy:
I have a supplementary question. I thank
the minister for his response; I appreciate that. On behalf of the domestic and business customers, in light of his answer,
does the minister anticipate that they would be out of pocket, because a
lot of concerned residents were at the Esperance show on the weekend?
The SPEAKER : Minister, can I just
give some guidance. Given the time and your earlier comprehensive answer, could
we have a quick response, please.

AnswerView source ↗

Certainly.
I appreciate the fact that the member and I have engaged on this issue for a little
while. I cannot give a clear position to the residents at this stage,
because we have only been aware of the decision for fewer than three weeks. I will
commit to come to Esperance and engage with the member and others to make sure
that we have a clear plan for the people of Esperance.
