Busselton Water
(1) Three bad debts totalling $406.90
(2) Hooker, Benson & Estate of Curtis
(3) Busselton Water actively pusues potential bad debts. It has very small levels of oustanding debt and has the normal suite of recovery facilities available to a water service provider.
Aqwest
(1) 4 bad debts totalling $3,397.45
(2) G & B Drainage, S Byrne, D & L Mercuri, Dale Alcock Homes
(3) Ongoing debt recovery program. Use of Reminders, Follow-ups, Intention to Summons Notices etc.
Department of Water
(1) One bad debt was written off, the amount being $447.08
(2) Internal debt.
(3) Improved processes and procedures to ensure the timeliness of recovery of debts.  Use of the State Solicitor's Office to collect difficult to recover amounts.
Water Corporation
(1) Amount: $98,531.60 - Number: Eight .
(2) - Outdoor World Mandurah (Bankrupt).

- Lakewood Mill Pty Ltd.
- Standard Crate Exchange Pty Ltd (Liquidation).

- Land that has been, or will be, reverted to Crown (this consists of low value landin small
country towns which has been, or will be, reverted to the Crown as the debtor is deceased
or whereabouts is unknown).
(3) The substantial majority of debt owed to the Water Corporation is secured against the land and consequently very little debt is written off in this segment.
Unsecured debtors, which relates to various miscellaneous charges not able to be secured against land (for example - reimbursement for damages to water services) are routinely followed up with the full range of recovery methods used, including legal action.
