Significant planning work that has flowed from the State Planning Strategy includes the implementation of the Shark Bay Region Plan and the Gascoyne Coast Regional Strategy, structure planning for the Exmouth-Learmonth area and Coral Bay, a coastal plan for the area from Carnarvon to the North West area and rangelands management through the Gascoyne Murchison Strategy. Information on the regional plans is available from the Department of Planning and Infrastructure, Local Government authorities in the region and the Gascoyne Development Commission.
