I thank the member for some notice of this question. Last week when I was talking about the number of employees who have entered into workplace agreements since 1993, the member for Nollamara interjected to indicate that there was some element of double counting in the figure. I am pleased to be able to advise the House that since the workplace agreement system commenced, in excess of 245 000 individual employees have entered into at least one Western Australian workplace agreement and approximately 45 000 of those employees have had more than one agreement with the same employer. I hope that this information helps to eliminate any misunderstanding that the previous figures involved double counting.
