Why is the minister undermining public confidence in an excellent health service in the Peel region? Mr KUCERA

That is a most inappropriate question. The member for Dawesville is doing the undermining by raising the issue in this manner. I have visited Peel Health Campus on a number of occasions. Just last week, I went to great lengths to praise that service to the community of Mandurah. The member for Dawesville would be the first to criticise me if I did not insist on a degree of accountability to make sure that his constituents, and those of the member for Mandurah, are getting proper health services. I did not raise this issue in the Press; it was raised by the Press. I have clarified it, and I have set out to review these contracts, which were put in place by the previous Government, to make sure that the services are satisfactory. The contracts contain some flaws, and I would be remiss in my duty as a member of Parliament if I did not raise them and do something about them. I can assure the member for Dawesville and his constituents - and he should take this message back to the community as I did last week - that the Peel Health Campus is operating well. If the member for Dawesville wants to make cheap political points out of that, so be it, but it will be on his own head, and he will die on his own sword.
