(a) Western Australia Police is nearing the completion of a preliminary site report and due diligence on a proposed site for the new Ballajura Police Station.
(b) The proposed site is on Cassowary Drive, adjacent to Ballajura Community College.
(c) The development of the building envelope for the new station is currently in the Project Definition Plan (PDP) phase. A formal program for the project will be produced during the PDP phase. Early indications are that site works will commence in late 2015.
(d) Based on current information and subject to unforeseen issues, it is anticipated that Ballajura Police Station will be completed and occupied in late 2016.
