CAMP
QUARANUP, ALBANY
277. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
Leader of the House representing the Minister for Sport and Recreation:
Will the Minister for Sport and
Recreation provide details of what planning is currently underway for the
redevelopment of the historic Camp Quaranup in
Albany, including any costing and time frames on when it will happen?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
The Department of Sport and
Recreation has engaged two consultancies—one to develop a better
understanding of the engineering issues of the site and one to scope a heritage
conservation plan. These documents will provide direction on the siteXXX ###XXXs master plan. Given the complexities of the
site, it is expected that the master plan will be completed by the end of 2016.
