(a)
(i)-(iii) The Better Urban Forest Planning guide is a resource to support local governments undertaking urban forest planning and as such, there are no mandatory reporting requirements.
(b) The Better Urban Forest Planning guide has been specifically written to assist and provide support for local government. Design WA Stage 1 policies include tree canopy requirements as part of State Planning Policy 7.3: Residential Design Codes Volume 2 – Apartments, under ‘Element 3.3 – Tree canopy and deep soil areas’.
