Answer as at 3 April 2014:
A Department of Health Food Unit officer, authorised under the
Food Act 2008,
has conducted an assessment of a food business allegedly transporting perishable food products to Rottnest Island as a follow-up of a complaint.  No specific breaches of food standards were detected; however, the food business had not notified the Department of Health of its activities, as required under the
Food Act 2008,
and this has now been corrected.
