The Office of the Public Sector Standard Commissioner advises that the Commissioner reported directly to Parliament on Wednesday 12 April 2006 concerns "regarding the relationship between statutory office holders reporting directly to Parliament and the executive arm of government." Addendum to and forming part of the Ten-Year Review Report One: The Commissioner's Role in Action--A Ten-Year Reflection . The Commissioner advised Parliament of her intention "to work collaboratively with other independent officers who report directly to Parliament, including the Auditor General and the Ombudsman, to research this issue to determine if a better model is warranted, and will report to Parliament on this issue later this year." To this end, the Commissioner is coordinating a research report with the other independent statutory office holders. The Commissioner has advised she is happy to respond more specifically to questions from the Hon Donna Faragher if she wishes to consult with her directly.
