(1) Is the Minister aware of Community concerns over allegations of undue pressure from the Government being placed on the Albany Port Authority for it to encourage the building of short term residential accommodation and/or a restaurant on the foreshore near the proposed small boat harbour adjacent to Princess Royal Drive?
(2) Is the Minister and/or her Department aware that at a recent meeting of the Albany Water Front Project Reference Group a motion was moved by the Albany Port Manager and seconded by the Member for Albany, Peter Watson, to approve and/or recommend the construction of Short term residential accommodation on the same foreshore?
(3) Is the Minister and/or her Department aware that the Albany Community voted overwhelmingly against the construction of any residential accommodation on the Albany foreshore in 1999?

2. Yes. The Albany Port manager was in support of the concept for ‘short term tourist accommodation’, as evidenced by his moving of the support motion at the Albany Water Front Project Reference Group. 3. There is no evidence that a Community ‘vote’ occurred on this matter.
