(1) I refer the Minister to the establishment of regional parks within the metropolitan area, and that whilst interim management of landholdings at Herdsman Lake, Canning River, Yellagonga and Beeliar Regional Parks had been transferred to CALM, the WA Planning Commission retains management of Jandakot Botanic Park, Rockingham Lakes and Darling Range; and ask will the Minister advise when the management of these three remaining Regional Parks will be transferred to CALM?
(2) Will any funds be transferred to assist CALM with the management of these Parks?

2. Additional funding of $2.35 million per annum for day to day management of the 8 regional parks has been provided via the Consolidated Fund to CALM. The Western Australian Planning Commission has separately provided one off funding of $500 000 to CALM for the preparation of management plans and $5 million for capital developments within the parks identified via the management plans. Once the capital funding has been expended, the land will be transferred to the Crown and created as Crown reserves and vested directly with CALM and local governments in accordance with the management plans.
