I refer to the Port Hedland enhancement scheme development plan. (1) Is the minister aware that the Pilbara Development Commission intends to advertise for tenders to undertake works on the enhancement scheme within the next two weeks? (2) Is the minister aware that the PDC has not yet sought state or commonwealth environmental impact assessments on these proposals? (3) Can the minister outline how the Pilbara Development Commission can be tendering for works before it has been assessed to determine whether these proposals are environmentally acceptable?
