I refer to the show cause notice issued to the Child and Adolescent Health Service Board in February 2022, and I ask: (a) was the Minister briefed prior to the issuance of the show cause notice; (b) if yes to (a), who briefed the Minister and when did this occur; (c) will the Minister table the briefing notes and similar documents received which led to the notice being issued; and (d) if no to (c), will the Minister issue a notice to the Auditor General under section 82 of the Financial Management Act 2006 ?

a) Yes.
b) The Child and Adolescent Health Service advised the Minister of the incident on 24 January 2022, and provided face to face briefings on 31 January and 8 February 2022.
c) No.
d) The information sought by the member does not relate to the conduct or operation of an agency within the meaning of section 82 of the Financial Management Act 2006 and, as such, no requirement to provide a notice arises.
