(1) Is the minister aware of any intention by Bluegate Nominees Pty Ltd to lease the car park on the north side of Mounts Bay Road opposite the old Swan Brewery, or any other car parking facilities under its lease with the State Government, to another lessee? (2) Is Bluegate Nominees required to give notice of any such agreement? (3) Would such a lease be permitted under the lease agreement between Bluegate Nominees and the State Government? (4) Is the minister aware of any agreement that has been entered into between Bluegate Nominees and a third party; and if so - (a) who is the third party; and (b) what are the terms of agreement? Bluegate Nominees Pty Ltd is, pursuant to the terms of the head lease and subleases between Bluegate and the sublessees of the Swan Brewery building, currently granting car parking licences to those sublessees. (2) No. (3) Yes. Bluegate has the power to sublease the land under the head lease of the Swan Brewery site and car parking area. Under the head lease, the land comprising the car park is permitted to be used as a car park. (4) Assuming that the member is referring to the car parking area adjacent to the Swan Brewery site, then, as the minister has already indicated, Bluegate has granted, under the terms of the subleases, car parking licences to the sublessees of the old Swan Brewery site.
