I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)-(4) I have discussed the issue with a range of different groups that are involved in the racing industry. I use the term racing in its broadest context to cover galloping, trotting and greyhounds. There is a significant degree of concern among groups in Western Australia about the direction of the racing industry. I am contemplating a review of the industry although I have not made a final decision. I hope to do so shortly. I cannot say who would be appointed to the review, if one were to be held. The same comments apply to the terms of reference and the commencement date. If a review were held, it would include trotting and greyhounds. The time has come for a review of the industry as a whole.
