government refused a request by Kulcha, Multicultural Arts of WA, for a
financial assistance package?

Excellence Award, and in 2012 the national Australia Business Arts Foundation—AbaF—Regional

funding over and above its 2014 allocation of $183 305, which, following an
independent audit, was declined.
(2) The
decision not to support the recapitalisation was made following a detailed
analysis of the request and the financial capacity of Kulcha.
(3) The
Department of Culture and the Arts is currently preparing options for
consideration for the use of the funding previously allocated to Kulcha.
