1. There is no Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Bunbury Hospital.
2. Not applicable.
3. There are eight high dependency unit (HDU) beds operational at Bunbury Hospital.
4.-6. There are no intensive care specialist doctors employed at Bunbury Hospital.
7.- 8. Planning is being undertaken to establish an ICU at the South West Health Campus in Bunbury. The Bunbury Hospital's High Dependency Unit would remain fully operational until a new ICU is ready to open.
Note: When intensive care-type patients are received at Bunbury Hospital, they are able to be ventilated for up to 24 hours in HDU to allow them to be stabilised and clinically assessed, prior to transfer to an appropriate tertiary health facility.
