The Member may be interested to know that the Liberal-National Government has engaged Planning and Transport Research Centre (PATREC) to conduct a study as part of the long-term planning investigations for the Perth Transport Plan for 3.5 million people and beyond.
This plan will be the most comprehensive transport plan produced since Stephenson and Hepburn's 1955 Plan.
Long term strategic planning of Perth integrated transport network will avoid costly transport thought-bubbles, such as Labor's failed transport policy that suffered a $1.4 billion cost blow out during the last State Election.
(a-c) The Minister requests further clarification on the bridge the Member is referencing from the 2014 Budget Estimates.
