I refer to the 2024-25 Budget Paper No.3 at Page 122 ‘Major Spending Changes Since the 2023-24 Mid-Year Review’, line item ‘Asset Maintenance Fund – Preventative Maintenance’, and I ask: (a) Please list the WA public schools that have had preventative maintenance undertaken via the Asset Maintenance Fund between 1 July 2024 and 1 May 2025; (b) Please outline the dollar amount spent on this preventative maintenance for each school listed in (a); (c) Please provide the breakdown of the answers to (a) and (b) by Education Region; and (d) Of those schools listed in the answer to (a), how many were: (i) Less than 5 years old; (ii) 11 to 20 years old; (iii) 21 to 30 years old; (iv) 31 to 40 years old; (v) 41 to 50 years old; and (vi) More than 50 years old?

As part of the 2025-26 State Budget, the Cook Labor Government allocated $1.7 billion towards new schools and upgrades to education infrastructure over the next four years, which will help meet the needs of growing communities across Western Australia.
