(1) Will the Minister detail the anticipated energy consumption required for the desalination unit that is to be constructed by the State Government on the Burrup Peninsular in the Pilbara?
(2) Has the Water Corporation secured approval for access to a power source for the supply of energy for this desalination unit; and
(a) if yes, from who and under what conditions; and
(b) if no, what will be the capital cost to the State Government of expanding the power generation capacity of the Pilbara to meet the power needs of the desalination unit approved for the Burrup?
