On behalf of the Minister for Housing and Works, I thank Hon Ray Halligan for some notice of the question. (1) The breakdown of the adjustment note of $3.241 million is as follows, and is shown on page 1090 of the 2004-05 budget - Change in equity resulting from operations $3.663 million Less Resources received free of charge $0.307 million Liabilities assumed by the Treasurer $0.115 million Net adjustments $3.241 million (2) The estimate for the 2004-05 resources received free of charge was calculated using the actual charges raised for 2002-03 as a base. The 2002-03 resources received free of charge were for the Valuer General’s Office, the Crown Solicitor’s Office and state audit. This estimate was then reduced following advice from the Department of Treasury and Finance that state audit fees will no longer be provided free of charge from 2004-05 onwards.
