I refer the Minister to his press release regarding the Manjimup Horticultural Processing Scheme, dated April 23, and ask -
(1) How many employees did the former MAES Ltd operations have?
(2) Is Scheme funding available even if former MAES Ltd employment levels are not restored due to economic conditions?
(3) If not, why not?
(4) Have the new owners of the Simplot site applied for any assistance under the Scheme?
(5) Have the new owners given any indication that they will be restoring employment to previous levels?
