There is no similar Region Scheme in the North West of the State. The Peel Region Scheme is the first scheme in 40 years since the original Perth Metropolitan Region Scheme was Proclaimed in 1963. Any private land acquisitions in the North West are made on an as required basis by individual departments and agencies for their respective capital works projects. As land acquisitions are made across many portfolios I am not prepared to commit the resources to compile a comprehensive response in respect of all Government property acquisitions in this instance.
