(a) The Port Hedland Port Authority (PHPA) has recently offered BGC a 50 year lease on PHPA land at Wedgefield to develop facilities to import cement. BGC has accepted this offer and has advised the PHPA that it did not wish to proceed with a five year lease on the wharf at Port Hedland.
