CHILD PROTECTION —
CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE — ROEBOURNE
379. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Attorney General:
I gave notice of this question on 31
March this year. I refer to question on notice 2110, which was directed to the
Attorney General, who responded that part (d) of the question should be
directed to the Ministers for Police and Corrective Services. I further refer
to questions on notice 2739 and 2740 to those respective ministers and note
that the Minister for Police has replied that the information is held with the
Department of Justice and that the Minister for Corrective Services has
referred me back to the Attorney General.
Will
the Attorney General now please provide the information to Parliament as
requested and put a stop to this circus of non-answers from cabinet
ministers that defies the Premier's promise prior to the election that
his government would adhere to a gold standard of transparency?

This answer is from 31 March.
It is not possible to provide the
information in the time required; therefore, I ask the honourable member to
place the question on notice.
Honourable member, I will take up
the issue with the Attorney General's office to see whether an answer
cannot be provided before that, but that is the formal answer.
