REPORT
277. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I refer to the letter to the
Premier from Mr Craig Peacock dated 23 January 2024 arising from the
Parliamentary Inspector of the Corruption and Crime Commission's report
of 27 November 2023 correcting the errors and omissions contained in the
Corruption and Crime Commission's report of 12 March 2019.
(1) Does the
Premier recall that on 19 March 2024 he was asked in Parliament when Mr Peacock
can expect a response to his letter?
(2) Does the
Premier recall that on 21 March 2024 he was further asked in Parliament whether
he will be providing a response to Mr Peacock?
(3) Is the Premier
aware that his evasive responses to these straightforward questions of
accountability are having an impact on the mental health of Mr Peacock?
(4) Will the
Premier now provide an update on when Mr Peacock can expect a response to his
letter in accordance with rudimentary professional standards?
