I refer to Estimates Committee B on 23 May 2019, and ask: (a) Does the department keep information on workers’ compensation claims and related premiums: (i) If so will the Minister provide a breakdown of the number and value of claims and premiums for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019 year to date; and (ii) If not, given the Minister asked to put this on notice, why has the information not been provided?

(i) The Department pays its insurance premiums on a financial year basis and premiums are based on claims in the preceding financial years. Consequently the tables below reflect the claims and premiums on this basis (ending 30 June of the relevant year).
