Can I take it that the Premier has just stated that there will be no downgrading or closure of hospitals during the rest of this Government’s term in office? Dr G.I. GALLOP

AnswerView source ↗

The Leader of the National Party is very tricky. He knows that the Government has created new regional health authorities. They are looking at the way they deliver services in each of the regions in order, not to downgrade any services but to upgrade services so that regional people get what they deserve.
