ROAD FATALITIES — REGIONAL WESTERN AUSTRALIA 440. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Attorney General representing the Minister for Road Safety: (1) Of the 77 fatal crashes, 87 deaths and 84 critical injuries that occurred on regional roads in 2015, how many occurred — (a) within 50 kilometres of the driver’s home; (b) between 50 kilometres and 100 kilometres from the driver’s home; (c) between 100 kilometres and 200 kilometres from the driver’s home; and (d) more than 200 kilometres from the driver’s home? (2) How many occurred while the driver was travelling to or from their workplace? (3) (a) Of the deaths — (i) there were 23 related to alcohol; (ii) there were 13 related to fatigue; (iii) there were seven related to inattention; and (v) there were 29 related to speed.
