FAMILY AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OFFENDERS — GPS
MONITORING
910. Ms L. METTAM to the Attorney General:
I have a supplementary question. Why
has the Attorney General dragged his feet, taking an entire sitting year to
introduce this important legislation and table the report?
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Order, please.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Do none of you
have any confidence in the Attorney General being able to answer the question
and you need to answer in his place? Attorney General.

It is question time, not debate
time, and I would like to ask the member: what did the Liberal government do
for eight years on family and domestic violence?
The SPEAKER : No. That is a rhetorical
question.
Mr J.R. QUIGLEY : I have
already answered questions on this matter. I would like to but I am not allowed
to, Madam Speaker.
The SPEAKER : As long as it is
a rhetorical question and you are just asking yourself. Members, that concludes
question time.
