966. Hon MARTIN PRITCHARD to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to Main Roads Western Australia tender MRWA008913 and
discussions between Main Roads and Brierty Ltd concerning additional project
costs.
(1) Have negotiations between Main Roads and Brierty
concluded?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) what is
the amount of any additional payments to Brierty above the original $27.181 million
awarded contract;
(b) did the
resolution involve an admission or acknowledgement that Main Roads provided
insufficient data on the project; and
(c) if no to (2)(b), on what basis
were any additional payments made?
(3) If negotiations have not concluded, when is it expected
that the matter will be finalised?
(4) Has Troy
Buswell, Brierty general manager commercial, been involved in any discussions
in relation to this tender or to associated negotiations, including talks with
the Minister for Transport, staff in his office or Main Roads officials?
