(4) Each and every contact and meeting between Mr Phillips and Ms Edwardes has been solely in relation to victims issues, in her capacity as the Chair of the Victims of Crime Reference Group (VOCRG), and Mr Phillips' capacity as the Attorney's representative to the VOCRG.
The Hon Cheryl Edwardes was appointed the Chair of the Victims of Crime Reference Group on 21 February 2007 by the then attorney general, the Hon Jim McGinty. In keeping with the practice of the previous attorney general, the group ordinarily meets on a monthly basis in the Attorney General's Office. A ministerial adviser attends VOCRG meetings to ensure that the Attorney General is kept informed of victims issues arising out of the group, and solicit the input of the VOCRG into current and proposed government legislation relevant to victims. Mr Phillips is that ministerial advisor.
Date 3(i) refers to an occasion during the allotted period where VOCRG group members attended the Victim Support and Child Witness Service Regional Conference.
Dates 3(ii) to (iv) refer to regular VOCRG meetings.
Date 3(v) refers to an occasion during the allotted period, where a issue raised by a VOCRG member on behalf of a victim of serious crime led to Ms Edwardes and Mr Phillips undertaking to the group to meet separately prior to the next VOCRG meeting to discuss that matter further with a view to ensuring all relevant details were brought to the attention of the Attorney General.

In relation 3(v) No.
(6) 3(i) was a conference attended by approximately 40-50 court staff along with VOCRG representatives were present at the conference. Consequentially, names of all persons present are not readily available.
