Hon Sue Ellery questions the Premier regarding the monitoring of funding allocated to non-government service providers and its impact on direct-care staff wages, particularly in the disability sector. The Premier's response indicates a lack of information and a promise to provide an answer if the question and relevant data become available.

NON-GOVERNMENT SERVICE PROVIDERS — STAFF
WAGES
543. Hon SUE ELLERY to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I refer to funding for the non-government sector in last year's
budget and the lack of measures to monitor how much of that has been and is
being passed on directly to the wages of direct-care staff.
(1) Have the
key indicators, data sources and baseline reporting measure in the evaluation
framework been developed yet?
(2) If yes to
(1), will the minister table those; and, if not, why not?
(3) If no to
(1), when will they be developed?
(4) Is the
Premier aware that some organisations in the disability sector have delivered
the full amount of the increase to direct-care staff and others have not, which
has created a patchwork of wage levels within the sector?

I do not seem to have an answer to that question or indeed a
copy of the question. If it turns up, I will provide the answer.
