905. Hon ED DERMER to the Minister for Finance:
(1) For the office of the Minister for Child Protection at London House —
(a) what is the total annual rental cost for
each of the 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11 and 2011–12
financial years;
(b) what is the current floor space of the office;
(c) when was the lease on the office last negotiated and renewed; and
(d) when will the lease expire?
(2) For the office of the Minister for Environment at Allendale Square —
(a) what is the total annual rental cost for
each of the 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11 and 2011–12
financial years;
(b) what is the current floor space of the office;
(c) when was the lease on the office last negotiated and renewed; and
(d) when will the lease expire?

(1) For the office of the Minister
for Child Protection at London House —
(a)
In 2008–09, $357 751; in 2009–10, $473 379; in 2010–11,
$462 685; and in 2012–13, $417 093.
(b) It is 558.17 square metres.
(c)
The lease was last negotiated and renewed on 1 March 2006 for an initial lease
term of seven years and four months. There is one five-year option available.
(d) The lease will expire on 30
June 2013.
(2) In
respect to the office of the Minister for Environment at Allendale Square, the
question has been answered very specifically for that parameter —
(a)
In 2008–09, nil; 2009–10, nil; 2010–11, $168 926—the
premises were occupied from 1 January 2011; in 2011–12—a full
year—it was $371 898.
(b) It is 523.80 square metres.
(c)
The lease was last negotiated on 1 January 2000 for an initial lease term of 10
years with two five-year options available. The first option was exercised in
October 2009 and commenced on 1 January 2010.
(d) The lease will expire on 31
December 2014.
