NEIL THOMSON to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for
Planning:
I refer to the recent announcement
to build an Aboriginal cultural centre in front of the Perth Concert Hall.
(1) Did the Western
Australian Planning Commission or any of its subcommittees consider the
location of the centre?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If yes to (1), has the WAPC
supported the proposed location as the preferred site?

Leader of the House, the following answer has been provided by the
Minister for Planning.
(1)–(3) The Western Australian
Planning Commission did not have a role in the selection of the site.
